Teton Area avalanche hazard rating for 11/28/2021
General Avalanche Advisory
The general avalanche danger is LOW today. 'Low' danger does not mean 'no' danger. As winds increase throughout the day, small isolated pockets of slab may be found in steep terrain at the highest elevations. Avalanches are unlikely at the mid and lower elevations, which lack sufficient coverage for an avalanche rating. Early season conditions exist at all elevations, and the main hazard for backcountry travelers remains the shallow snow depths.
